Yeah, I had read all the hype and glowing reports for a few years before my purchase. Just my luck...
I think they got so popular so fast, that they sacrificed QC in order to blow more product out the door.

It seems like it. Now the gun is discounted 800 on Eurooptic, makes sense.

I will be trying out a Hell's Canyon McMillan next, hoping for the best. Can't shoot any worse, and multiple folks on here seem to love them.

Posting as a warning (and vent) to anyone contemplating a Bergara Ridge rifle. I recently bought two.

Long story short, groups look like shotgun patterns. Painstakingly broke in and 4 different brands of quality factory ammo tested in both. I have the same rifle in a different caliber I bought a few years back and it's a legit 1/2" gun. Wasted a lot of time and money on these two new turds. Seems things have went south there.

Full disclosure: I am not giving them the opportunity to make it right. I don't have any desire to deal with their customer service. Been there, done that!

Late to the party, I can’t get my carbon Ridge in 7 PRC to shoot under two minute. Going to dump the gun and go back to Tikka

A tale as old as time lol.

I dumped my Bergara a couple years back and have been shooting a Browning Hells Canyon McMillan stock in 28N and its lights out.
