If you wet tumble brass

I roll them in a small cooler full of water and shake out all of the pins I can. Then I dump them onto a large towel on the floor and roll them around on it. I spread them out and run my magnet over them to get any remaining pins. From there, on a cookie sheet in the oven on its lowest setting for 30min. Done.

Going to this one again. Is there really a shoe rack in a dryer LMAO who knew!
Most, maybe all dryers come with a shoe rack that you can put in. It keeps things from tumbling in the dryer. I didnt know either. I got the idea off of here and it works great. I didnt even know what that rack was for until i read about the shoe rack on here.

I've put them on a tray in oven or outside in the sun and wind, or just put on a towel and hit with a blow dryer. It all works. I didn't worry about putting it in an oven when I was single. Not sure I'd want something with any of those chemicals evaporating into my family oven now days.

Haven't wet tumbled in years though.

I wet tumble because try tumbling seems like a dust hazard. I know I don't need to clean and the carbon in the neck is better if left in for longterm ES but I can't help myself.

after wet tumbling, I spin the cases in a Dillon media separator and then roll them on a towel before putting in the Dehydrator for 15min per layer. Easy, works great and helps my OCD

I picked up a used Lyman case dryer, but it's quite a lot of hassle to use and it still takes an age...liking some of the simpler solutions in this thread, particularly the shoe rack in the dryer!

If I get really dirty brass, I wash it with steel pins. To dry them, I tumble in my rotary tumbler as much as possible and then throw them into my walnut media. Let that run for 20 min or so, and they come out dry as a bone. I did find that moisture was collecting on the top of my tumbler lid when doing this, so I drilled a few holes in the lid to let moisture escape.

I tried not cleaning brass one time, de primed and ran through amp. I definitely didn’t dig having black suit or whatever fall into amp. I stopped and clean they are. I just use neolube 2 in necks in my process and achieve single digit velocity.
