You eventually get an exceptional one haha.

Always cool to see a group stack like this.

Obviously I know it’s not the norm, for the group size, or the ES. Especially for big cartridges for caliber. I also know it’s a small sample and yada yada. I KNOW lol. But it happened and I liked it, so here it is haha.

This is a 6.5-7PRC built by @barehandlineman shooting 156 Berger’s with N570.

It was shooting good this evening while testing 156’s and N570. Just a quick group at 100 before going to 610 and shooting a .1, .3 and .5. I’ve just been doing 3 shot groups with cooling in between. And dialed one MOA between groups.

I agree, you shoot enough and it's going to happen. Too many people consider that the normal capability of the rifle which is where we get in trouble. I rarely say my guns will do better than .5 all day and in reality, that's a stretch if we're being honest and documenting every shot.

That's some great shooting top to bottom and great performance out of the round. It's the ideal chambering for 6.5 heavies in a hunting round IMO. I feel like Hornady left a little on the table with the 65 PRC but I'm sure they have their reasons for building it the way they did.

I think there are a lot of people on here who would be happy with those results, nice shooting.
Myself included! Thank you 👊🏼

Good shooting! Curious what length barrel you go with on that beast?
It’s a 22” barrel. Already have a 26” on deck for when Lapua brass comes out. I’ll star with a fresh barrel and fresh batch of brass when I can get my hands on some.

I think I’d probably call that load “developed”.
Hahaha yeah it looks good to me for sure. I’ve never shot 156’s before, but they seem like a forgiving bullet to load for!

Absolutely agree with everything you said. I’ve shot a fair amount of rifles and cartridges up until now. And while most of them have shot A TON of sub 1/2MOA 3 and 5 shot groups. But I don’t think I’d guarantee any of them to do it repeatedly.

I’d wager a decent amount I could do it with my 22CM right now, but I still might lose haha. But odds are more in my favor than not with that rifle.

This was the 6.5-7PRC throat after 100 rounds of H1000/N565/N570 during testing

Some data from a 22” barrel. “Bolt Click” is top charge. I’d go down 2 grains from there for legit speed info

Dang nice shooting. Also helps when you are a great shooter like you are!
Haha thanks man. Anyone can be a great shooter with a 10lb rifle and a set of ski’s for a front rest 😅
