If you could move and live anywhere in the lower 48 where would you go?

Not trying to be that guy, but use the search bar dude. This topic has over a dozen threads.

But, to answer your question. I'd pick Tennessee.

Than why bother posting.
Move on

Don’t pick Oklahoma, deer and ticks is all there is here.

I actually like NC, and just fly out west each year to hunt in the fall and snowboard big country in the late winter. Throughout the year I’m a day trip from Appalachia and from the coast.

I like the beach and saltwater too much to live out west.

I’ll probably retire at the coast

Couldn't pick just one, so got a house in both Wisconsin and North Carolina.
Trophy whitetails out the backdoor in one, and a saltwater dock on the other.
Both States are full now, so please keep looking.

Me and my wife are planning to buy a second house or condo in Florida in the next 5 years. She wants to get out of Wyoming for at least a few months of the winter. Our kids are homeschooled and by next year I will be working from home.

I've lived in Colorado for the last 21 years. The wife wants to be closer to family in Washington, and I'm tired of everything I love to do being under constant attack and losing ground. We're looking to Idaho because its better in both regards. Closer to her family without to close. We're headed to check it out this spring to see where we wanna land.

I live in Colo and grew up as a kid in Wyoming. It’s tough to beat the weather in Colo. Wyo blows! If it weren’t for the wind I would still be living in Wyo. Wyo offers about the best resident opportunity for multiple species for hunting. Colo offers the same species but it’s tougher drawing quality units. I’ve actually had better fishing options here in Colo.

it’s tough dealing with so many people here in Colo. it’s possible to get away in Wyo once you leave the city limits. It’s tougher to do that in Colo. There are advantages/disadvantages to every state.

I live in East Tennessee and can tell you that it’s a great place to settle, my family has a place in Western Montana and I get to go back and forth a lot to hunt and fish Montana and Idaho just Drew my general NR deer tag for Idaho this year. The Money I save living here allows me the Money to spend a lot of time Hunting there. I think if you plan well and I’m no genius so you can do it and make it work. East Tennesee is filling up I live on the Tennessee River and most of my neighbors are from California and Oregon.

For hunting, I do think the western slope of Colorado offers a lot. You could make the same case for countless places in the west though. I don't have experience hunting out east but the natural beauty of dense hardwood forests is really enticing.
