Just to be different I’d build a 22gt. The easy button would be 22 creed.
Can’t justify the 22creed ammo price to shoot a coyote22-250 or .22 creed
I messaged him. The OP could look up ScenarShooter on 24hourcampfire.
Maybe stick with .223 then. 22 creed 22-250 6 creed etc are all gonna cost about the sameCan’t justify the 22creed ammo price to shoot a coyote

22-250 is a lot cheaper than 22 creed right now. I bought a few hundred rounds of each this fall - 22-250 50gr vmax was $18/box and 22 creed 80gr was $40/box.Maybe stick with .223 then. 22 creed 22-250 6 creed etc are all gonna cost about the same

Maybe if your shooting factory. Hand loading is what I was referring to.Not true
22-250 has cheap ammo - time tested and must kill a million coyotes a year.Yes, At the moment I am a factory ammo shooter
6creed is on the list for sureFor what it's worth, I've shot several coyotes with my 6 CM and 108 ELDM factory ammo. Pelt damage has been minimal.
Slim chance of getting a response, he hasn't been on the fire for 3 1/2 yearsI messaged him
Incorrect, 204 comes in 50round boxes, not 20With concerns about ammo pricing, I'd scratch the 204 Ruger off the list. A quick search on ammoseek showed roughly the same price (or more) for 22 CM when shipping is included.
Day/night makes no difference at all in my eyesAlso, you neglected to say in your thread on the fire that this was a night time gun.
My last 4 rifles I put together were mostly for thermal coyote hunting, and all have slow twists for lighter bullets and more speed, which in my opinion is better at night.
