Idaho Wolf Down!

Shot this wolf Saturday evening after packing Jessica's bear out. Big male. There was a pack down there howling all night, Jess was sure they were going to climb up to our camp and attack us

I shot him with a Defensive Edge Canyon Rifle. This is the first 300 SMK I have recovered from a critter. Jess thought she saw him moving after the first shot, so I put an extra one in him. It entered his back, traveled through body cavity, and lodged in the off side flank.
