Idaho Tag Luck - The Next Day

Didn't get my Salmon B tag yesterday. Waited in line, but I was about 13k and they were all gone.

Spent about 6 hours today trying to decide between the remaining tags. Was leaning towards the Panhandle. Spent about the whole day logged into IDFG website. All of sudden a Salmon B tag popped up (1 for sale). Nabbed it. Happy to be back in the Salmon Zone.

Curious as how a tag just appeared.

My guess is idfg let someone swap with one still available so hunting buddies could hunt together but who knows

I was on my cow elk hunt in Washington when the Idaho tags went on sale so I couldn’t make it. I have been hunting the panhandle for the last 7 years, when I logged into the system to purchase all the panhandle A tags where gone. I ended up buying the Lolo A tag, I really hope someone turns in a panhandle A tag
