Is there no hunter orange requirement in Idaho?

I finally got around to watching an old recording of Meat Eater and Rinella was mule deer hunting in Idaho in full camo.
He glassed two hunters coming into the area he was hunting and they were orange-less too.
Kind of funny they never saw him but Rinella vacated the area.

Nope no need for orange in Idaho if you don't want to.. A lot of people still wear it but it is by choice.. I think in the regs they say they reccomend it or something like that..

It is nice, but in low light I use a neon orange hat when moving in areas I suspect humanity. I know of several guys killed here in low light wearing camo.

Mandatory orange is a good law. However, I think a hat is sufficient. Not full body suit orange like a lot of states. A zillion square inches or whatever it is.

I wear a hat with some orange on it during rifle season every year. It's not required but its a very good idea. That whip crack with a boom chaser will usually make a convert out of people.
