Anyone know where I could find an updated migration map for Idaho. I drew the late season mule deer tag. Trying to figure out how to hunt it. Any info would be great. Thanks

Thanks for the tips!Be very careful of your tires if you head up into the Owyhees. Carry a good compressor and a patch kit. Deep ruts in the access roads and sharp volcanics eat sidewalls for lunch.
What are we trading for?FNG, what can you offer in trade?

Lol. Did you just luck into this particular forum, or was there an actual reason you chose it?What are we trading for?
Haha sorry I’m new to this whole thing but I guess you could say there was some luck involved. That and just wanting to get more involved and learn more about hunting. This seemed like the place to come and check things out. Just haven’t made enough time to put to much into it yet. Kinda busy with all the other family stuff, tons of sports going on etc. haha.Lol. Ok that makes sense. Thanks manOnx is just pulling state data. So they only have that info layer for states that compile that data and make it available to the public.
I’ve helped with tags in that area multiple times, the way to hunt it is to get into the most accessible mountain area’s and cover distance by glassing from point to point.Anyone know where I could find an updated migration map for Idaho. On no worries man. I have seen a few things on google just seeing if there were any better. Thanks for the reply. It might not be available as an OnX layer but that doesn’t mean there isn’t data recorded in another format.
Not to sound rude but it really is a google search away.
Hey thanks for your input on this. I really appreciate it!!I’ve helped with tags in that area multiple times, the way to hunt it is to get into the most accessible mountain area’s and cover distance by glassing from point to point.
There’s no amazing migration corridor, there’s deer in basically every canyon, they move like crazy during that rut and you’ll likely spot a buck from the truck.
hint— i wouldn’t waste any time in the flatlands, there’s deer but significantly less.
