Idaho hiking information

Hey guys... couldn’t find another place for this. I’m wondering if Idaho has anything like washington has with WTA? I know the forest service websites will have trails listed, however it’s a pain to navigate and only gives some basic info. I also know about trails.com or whatever, just wondering if there’s an Idaho specific one.

Margaret Fuller is hard to beat for Idaho trail guides for hiking. She is very thorough. I don't know of any specific, all encompassing trails website for ID though.

In my opinion, this is one of the best tools to come from a state covering their roads, trails and lands. I love maps and studying them and literally look at this awesome tool at least once a day.

For books you might want to look at Scott Marchant's series of hiking/trail/back packing books. He goes into quite a bit of dept on each one, including up to date info on parking, markers on the trail, best time to go, kid friendly, etc.
