Idaho F&G Commissioner charged with poaching

Yep. Innocent until proven guilty, by my goodness, there's sure a lot of smoke around that fire.

Not a good look is a major understatement. They better throw the entire book at him and make an example if convicted. Governor needs to make a statement about the charges, not the verdict obviously, but just the nature of the charges. You have a citizen and a Warden as witnesses, ya I know which way I’m leaning but let the jury do their job (if he doesn't plea).

1000% if found guilty (which he probably will plea down for obvious reasons) throw the book at him! This is one of those things that set precedent across an entire nation.

Let’s not forget about how 8 years ago an IDFG commissioner was essentially forced by the governor to resign for the crime of sharing his legal African safari hunting photos with his friends and colleagues.

What does one have to do with the other. If what you say is true, one was legal, one was not. So?

It would be good to also see public corruption charges of some kind, as well. Given his position of authority, he probably thought he was safe enough to talk his way out of any problems, or that he was just above the law. Influencers poaching is bad enough, and incident bothers me a hell of a lot more than that, given what stuff like this does to democratic governance and rule of law. It's corrosive.
