Idaho Deer/Elk Controlled Results

From what I’ve found it’s looking like early July for draw results on deer/elk.

Yeah that’s correct (well, the 29th is what I’m showing last year).

I think they always say they’ll draw later and have been posting earlier than that. Managing expectations and all….

Yep, should be end of June/early July. But who knows what curveball IDFG will throw

About 6-7 years ago they didn't get the spring bear results out until after the season had opened. They're by far the most inconsistent when it comes to draw results.

Not that it really matters. I’ll draw nothing, and that will be that.

Everyone has to call in at 1000 and you'll be assigned a number in a waiting room.

I just want to draw a deer tag. In 15 years Ive drawn 5 elk tags and no deer. I know I should count my blessings but…

I checked my texts, last year my results were out on 6/29 and the previous year was 7/1.

Yea never understood why the results take so long now. It’s all electronic anyways. Doesn’t give us very long to scout out our hunts.

The same vendor who does Idaho’s draw is busy running the South Dakota deer draw that started yesterday according to another post on this very forum. South Dakota’s application deadline was a week ago today. At this point I can only believe it is IDFG telling them not to run the draw or to hold results of said draw

IDFG would probably say that they’re focusing on running the returned tag sale which is happening right now… which; whatever.
