When it comes to drawing tags this year, if it weren’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all. Yet another in what is becoming a truly remarkable streak of “unsuccessful” results this year.

Nope all I managed after applying for 7 hunts is a unlimited archery antelope tag.....

Couldn't believe my eyes when I got in and checked. I scored a cow tag in a unit I've wanted to hunt in for a while. It was low single digit draw odds so I'm pretty stoked.

Nada but expected that. There was only one tag left of a premium elk unit and just 3 for early season rifle deer. Don’t think you can check the applicants for these 2nd draws but I bet they might be worse than the first draw in many cases. We need more hunters!
