Ibex caliber and bullet

What are your favorite calibers and bullets for ibex. The guy I booked with said he recommends no smaller than a 7PRC. He said most shots will be between 300-500.

Shot mine with a 7mm REM Mag. 168 Berger VLD Classic. 69.1 grain of H1000. 225 yards at 11,700 feet of altitude. Center punched his heart and he did go 20.
