I guess I'll bump this up one more time. I knew it was a long shot but we gave it a go anyway. I was hoping for a good story but got a bunch of stories and laughs instead. Thanks everyone.

If I don't find the owner by Christmas maybe I'll turn this into a gear donation thread for new archery hunters. I'm pretty sure the mech heads, nocks, and Mathews quiver are still good although heads will need a little TLC.

I had to stop using bow slings while elk hunting. Bull bugles and I throw the sling over my shoulder never to be seen again.

A fix back east
I left a lone wolf climber at a trailhead once. I must have leaned it against the tire of my truck while getting the rest of my gear off and never put it in the bed before driving off. Whoever found it, you're welcome.

A friend lost his radio while climbing a mountain in the Adirondacks. The next year, he was climbing up to that same ridge, put his hand down to grab a tree for support and saw his radio sitting there. We took it back to camp, dried it out and it still worked.

I've lost a few trail cameras because bears love chewing on them so much.
