That's weird. I talked to the two guys running the hoodoo booth and they were super friendly. I wouldn't let a bad experience with an employee influence your opinion of the company. The owners are stand up guys for sure. The guys running the booth at hoodoo were rude as hell, I don't think I will deal with them.
and it wasn't steve, it was some younger kid.
I shot all four courses wearing my K2 3500 with my standard hunting load (25lbs.). Way more comfortable than the Kuiu Ultra 6000 I own but never use anymore. It would take more than a rude guy at a booth to make me switch back. As for the guys at Hoodoo, They were very nice and helpful with me. I just stopped to say Hi. While we were talking, they asked me how I liked my pack and I told them I have bought my last pack unless it gets stolen or catches fire. Then I mentioned that if I had any issue with the pack, it would be the belt buckle was a little weak. They told me that had been a problem that they upgraded since I bought mine. The younger guy started writing down his name and email so I could contact him for a replacement upgraded buckle and the other guy went into their trailer and dug around and found a new buckle and gave it to me. Not rude at all but very helpful even though I had not and was not going to buy anything.as rude as they were to me about running a Kuiu and my buddy about running an Initial ascent, yeah I think I will stay with those two companies. And I wasn't even there shooting, just came up for the day to pal around, I thought more of them and I know the owners are great guys, but I know they lost about 10 potential customers because of those two in the booth.
