I can't comment on a thread.... why?

I'd like to comment on a thread here - specifically an item for sale that I'm interested in.

I can't comment on it, and am told I have insufficient privilege to reply. Anyone know why? Do I just have to comment on more general threads to build enough privilege?

"Don't post on the forum complaining or bitching about the 10 post rule for posting in the classified section. It's there for a reason, read the rules and you will know why. Don't try to circumvent this either by posting that u have a backpack for sale in the backpack forum!!"

You should be good to go after you have at least 10 posts across other threads
