My son has the CampChef Woodwind with the sidekick and likes it. Also having an issue with rust on the front even though he keeps it covered and only a year old +/-.
Do any of these pellet grills sear? I do a fair amount of searing for fish, sous vide, and we like char on our smoked wings..I run a propane grill and box smoker now..haven't been able to find a brand that will take the place of these 2.
Super impressed with my RecTec
I got the older Costco Silverton from a co-worker for $50 and it has been pretty great so far. It does seam to ash quite a bit, but it may be the pellets I am using. I have seen a few comments made that since the vent is on the back and down low, that the smoke flavor is a bit better than those that have the vent on the topAfter a ton of research and spending $1200 if I had to do it again I’d go to Costco and get a $700 Traeger Silverton.
Their pellet grill does look pretty great. It's also $3400 wowCookshack - Buy American
