Hydration

I’m from Oklahoma and I’m just starting to go on western hunts and I’ve heard from a couple guys that have been several times and they told me they use the electrolyte packets in their water a week before the hunt to help be hydrated before they get there then they use them while they are there as well. They also keep a couple jars of pickles at base camp for sodium. So I’m going to try this

I used to get leg cramps really bad, then started to use Wilderness Athlete Hydrate and Recover and no more leg cramps. This was a few years ago, now I take it in the morning and again in the evening and it's made a huge difference in my performance in the mountains.

Throwing Drip Drops in the conversation because I like the way they taste better than any other I've tried, and they're cheap at Wal Mart.

Been using the Mtn Ops electrolyte packs and the Hydration mixes. Both have been great during this high heat and humidity period.

One Liquid IV in the AM with 32oz of water
One Propel at noonish
Cup of broth with dinner
16 ounces per hour while awake throughout the day.
Lots of urinating.
