Huskemaw Scope thoughts

Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are, never see or here about them on here, minimal classifieds (maybe that’s a good thing). One thread I find with some hate, but a couple years ago.
Possibly thinking one of these with the custom turret or a Vx5hd with the cds, going on a 300wm.

An acquaintance has one. I haven't looked through it myself. He said the glass isn't as clear as his Leupold's. He hasn't used it enough to say if it will hold up or not. Probably less than 20 shots behind it.

I have used and shot Huskemaw scopes for 10 plus years and have two on custom rifles in 300 RUM and 300 WM calibers. Both scopes are 5-20x50 and have held their zero and the glass is clear. I have custom turrets for both in MOA and yardage. I like their reticles and have no complaints about the scopes or their function.

One thing to keep in mind is their click values are in 1/3 MOA, which might be something to consider is shooting at extreme ranges (beyond 1000 yards).

I have the 5-20 it’s a decent scope, banged steel out to 700+ yards just fine and it returns to zero. The glass was clear enough to make out an elk from a bush, pretty sure I’m going to get rid of it for something a little lighter though.
