I was looking at these on the web and even went deeper to the owners manual. They have some really good things that I like? One thing I could not find is how many moa of adjustment they have in the scope. Can someone point me in the right direction in finding that? Bob.

Bob, there is 100 moa and you most likely know this but they are in 1/3 moa and 20 moa per revolution.

i have been running one for 3 years now & real happy with it killed my biggest stone ram at 700 yards with it,probably not for the true hard core long range guys but works good for me under 1000yds.

I got it Jeff. Still looking for a used NF. I could buy a new one now but gonna go see my daughter in two weeks and we all know Dad usually pays the bill when she is in College soon and just got a job. You have been a great resource! Bob.

Just go Mils Jeff, you'll be happier in the long run!!! Hahaha

MOA is more precise for most scopes.

A mil is 3.5" at 100 yds with most scopes adjusting 1/10th mil per click which equals .35" at 100 yds.

MOA is 1.05" at 100 yds, so with 1/4 moa per click it equals .26" at 100yds.

So at 1000 yds you're looking at 2.5" clicks for moa and 3.5" clicks for mils. Not a huge difference but still a difference.

The "hahaha" of my post was supposed to communicate sarcasm Justin :) but you are correct in your post that MOA is more precise per click value than Miliradians. Only thing I'll point out is Mils are .36" instead of .35" 1/10 click values at 100 yards. Thus 1 mil at 1k yards is 36", or your average height man will typically subtend 2 Mils (6' tall) at 1k yards. Not like 1" at 1k yards is much of a difference though!

Ha ha ! Mike, I'll leave all that "simple x 10" 360* stuff for you. I have been using MOA long enough that when I am forced to use Mils it just frustrates me to no end. I think either will work, but I believe the shooter needs to use what comes natural to them, opposed to fighting it.

Pick one and learn it well, but if you want to shoot with me expect spotter calls in MOA.

My goodness, just thinking here. Could you imagine two shooters one a Mil guy and one a MOA guy then toss a 1/3 moa scope in the mix. LOL

LoL! I learned on Mils so it's what I'm comfortable with. And i would say 70% of the guys I shoot with run Mils, you quickly learn who's shooting minutes when you get an "8.5" wind call at <1000 yards in less than 15 mph winds :)
