For those members that tow a converted cargo trailer to the mountains, what size trailer do you tow? Single or dual axle? Any issues with ground clearance?

We have towed a 12' single axle. We did an axle flip on it for better clearance. Easy and cheap to do.

I have a 16 footer. Also flipped the axels and put in new equalizers.
