I am currently running a Thunderbeast Ultra-9 on my 7prc. I love it, it is my first suppressor but really does kill sound, but recoil suppression is what really stands out to me.

I’m wanting another can, does anyone have the ultra 9, and have something better. Looking for best of the best!

I have the Ultra 9 Gen 1, Ultra 7 Gen 2, Ultra 5 Gen 2, and my bro-in-law has a Banish Backcountry... all are fantastic. For a 7prc, I'd highly recommend the Scythe-Ti. That's my next can that will be on order soon.

It's a fairly large and hefty-ish can but the TBAC Magnus would be a top pick. For a can that is very quiet but still at a relatively light weight is the Dead Air Nomad LTi XC.

I have an Ultra 9 Gen 1 and Magnus. I’ve not compared them but probably should.

I'll echo B23. I have the full size Magnus, Magnus S, and the Nomad Ti XC. For a hunting can if weight was concerned I'd pack the Nomad. A Cat JL is just as quiet as a Magnus, but isn't much lighter.

The Magnus is definitely quieter than the Ultra 9, but you pay the penalty in weight. Nomad Ti XC is Ultra 9/possibly slightly better performance in a sub 7" can.
