Hunting Stabilizer Setup

What length and weight stabilizer(s) is everyone using on their hunting setup? Are you hunting from a treestand or spot and stalk?

I use 11''x8'' for both and just add/subtract weight as needed

Had 15, 12, also 12,10. Do mostly spot and stalk. Most people don't want a front bar that would protrude past a nocked arrow.

I might use one this year treestand hunting. Probably a 15" front bar with not but 3 oz or so on it.

Back up bow uses a 10" with only 1oz, main bow also a 10" but with 3oz. Neither of these felt good with a back bar although my last bow did.

I have a 15 front with 5 oz and a 10 back with 7oz

I do both spot and stalk and blind hunting, probably a 70/30 split. For the most part the front length is not noticable since my nocked arrow is always out further anyway.

On another not, my hunting buddy commented that it is very convenient to throw across the top of your pack and still have a hand on the bow a bit, no need for straps!

Thanks everyone for your responses! I primarily whitetail hunt so I purchased a 10” beestinger and was debating getting a back bar. I just wanted a jumping off point because my yard isn’t big enough to notice a difference in my hold between the weights. Need to make a trip out to a range soon so I can do some testing at longer distances.

Thanks everyone for your responses! I primarily whitetail hunt so I purchased a 10” beestinger and was debating getting a back bar. I just wanted a jumping off point because my yard isn’t big enough to notice a difference in my hold between the weights. Need to make a trip out to a range soon so I can do some testing at longer distances.

My back bar tends to help counterbalance my sight weight and generally levels my bubble. My front bar stabilizes the pin float.

I've been messing around with a 15" front and a 10" rear this year and am really liking it. I will be taking this to TAC and then decide from there if I will take it hunting or not.

Considering changing from a 10" to 15" but really don't want to have to add a back bar since my bow weighs as much as a boat anchor (Halon 32.) How much of a difference did you all notice with the extra length out front?

Same bow(h32) went from a 12 to 15,didnt notice any difference in weight but noticed a difference in stabilization. No back bar for me.

I've shot without a back bar and it just means a little correction, i'm not sure i'll ever shoot without a 15" front bar, its crazy how much different it feels
