Hunting Rifle Decision: Your Most Accurate Rifle or Favorite Cartridge

I wouldnt have any issues running around with just an open sighted 30-30. I'll take the gun/chambering that I prefer over a bit more accuracy

I'd be curious how many animals that are posted on here couldnt have been killed with a 2.5moa gun. Talking hunting shots, not lobbing rounds across a canyon...
You must be retarded or something, what are you trying to say, look at the title of this post, can’t you read

The most for least effort with regards to accuracy rifle I own is a Tikka 6.5 Creedmoor

I have a 1870's vintage Rolling block in 50-70 that is my favorite hunting rifle. I use it whenever possible but due to the open sights it is not often here in the Black Forest. I have taken everything from cottontails to bison with 425gr lead bullets on top of BP. It consistently shoots 1.25MOA.

Right now, its my 25 creed. .7 moa 10 shot groups consistently. Shot this .6 10 round a couple days ago after a hunt where I fell 3-4 times in the snow and banged the scope, and drove probably 100 miles on washboard roads. Zero didn't shift one bit.20241203_072726.jpg
