I’m 5’9” and the knee articulation isn’t an issue for me on the Kutana soft shells or the Tiburons. It’s still in the right area for me. I can’t speak for all Kuiu pants or guys shorter than me though

I really want to try some of Kuiu's pants, but for the life of me I can't understand why they make pants with an articulated knee or with knee pads, but they're all 34" inseam? WTF!!! How is that practical for us shorter guys? You can't just hem the extra length because the knee position is WAY too low and very uncomfortable. Come on! You guys are smarter than that...

Ha! I’m 6’2”. The knee pad keeps my knee protected from running into things on a stalk, but certainly doesn’t protect it from the ground!

Timbelines for me. Knee pads need a little breaking in to be unnoticeable (and can be removed) and the knees/butt ARE waterproof.
