Hi,
A female co-worker of mine who lives in SC recently expressed interest in going hunting for the first time but does not know anyone who could take her or where to start. I checked the SC DNR website which has a mentorship program but it's for for ages 10-17. I'd guess my co-worker is in her mid 30s, so that's a no go. Rather than telling her to Google it, I thought I'd ask here if anyone had a recommendation for a hunting club in SC or some other way where she could find some mentorship and get started hunting. I'm in MN or I'd take her. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks

would require a plane ticket to Oregon, but this Ladies Hunting Camp has helped a lot of ladies gain the experience and confidence they need to get started.

If she's willing to travel a couple of hours up the road, NC has a pretty active BOW program

(Becoming an Outdoors Woman)

SC has Palmetto Outdoors Women, which isn't quite the same thing, but if she will contact SCDNR they will help her further. Good folks.
