Hunting clothes for tall people

PM 5MilesBack he is tall and may have a solution. My best suggestion is either cabelas microtex unhemmed or Kryptek talls they are long

C4E might be the ticket - I got a pair of tall pants and now I'm going to the tailor to shorten them up. If you want I'll measure the inseam tomorrow.

yeah, and he's all legs! Point that guy down the mountain with a load of elk meat and there's no way to keep up with him, and I won't even discuss uphill hikes and going over downfall!

Sitka has a Tall pant. I was between Kuiu and Sitka, went with Sitka because they offer a Tall. I am 35-36 inseam, and Sitka length worked for me.

More important than just straight inseam length is the pants overall length. I've tried pants that had a long enough "inseam" but they must have been made by some European fashion show designer. Hard to breathe in them let alone try to hunt in them.

My unhemmed Microtex (that Cabela's stopped carrying:mad:) are 49" from top to bottom and they fit great. I have about a 37" inseam. The Sitka Talls were easily 4" too short for me. I haven't been pursuing any lately because I already have a few pair of the Microtex.

Nateinia if you are interested in some Microtex unhemmed 34 waist let me know I have a pair I don't wear.

I have right about the same inseam and went with attack pants from Kuiu and run gaitors. The pants are good for length when walking and a little short when siting, gaitors help with the shortness on all pants, and help protect them from the brush that I hunt in

sitka and kryptek make pants in tall and also the shirts out there that have the thumb hole in there only come in reg sizes but i dont use the thumb hole and it makes the sleevs so much longer.cabelas has lots of base layers in talls. I havent found a top of the line hunting clothing company that makes any of there jackets in tall yet. some of the kryptek stuff fit very well in the sleeves, i think the alios pants by kryptek come in tall and the dalibor pants also.

Arcteryx "Leaf" (their sub division that caters to Law Enforcement, Armed Forces) has multicam combat pants that come in tall sizes…..

damn expensive though…

The Talos model claims to be the lighter offering for hot climates…. but are super durable and would be just fine layered with long underwear for colder conditions.

I'm a 36" inseam as well.

I'm a fan of the Tall Sitka pants, pants coming half way up my calves when I bend my legs/sit down has always been a pet peave of mine, no issues with the Sitka stuff.

I have a 36" inseam. Sitka Tall works for me, KUIU are high rise....I guess I am too lazy to unhem them, Core 4 Element Switchback Talls are incredibaly long.

Im liking the Sitka information I am reading. How do they fit? I bought the kryptek Valhalla pants last fall and they are tight in the thighs. I then bought the vertx pants and they fit a lot better. Not looking for camo pants at this point in time - just something in a solid color.

I'm not sure how Sitka Talls fit anybody with a 36" inseam......unless they've changed them in the last 3 years. The last set of Sitka Talls I tried were easily 4-5" too short and I'm around a 37" inseam.

I have a 35" inseam and the KUIU attacks are plenty long enough. I have a 34" waist, and the 34's are to short. I got 36" waist attacks, and the inseam is longer (just need to tighten the belt).
