I'm looking for a comfortable chair, mainly for whitetail, but also probably turkey hunting. I've had back issues since the 4th grade. I do pretty good in day to day life, but sitting in a treestand or on the ground with my back against a tree usually puts my back in a bind for weeks. I'll usually end up at a chiropractor several times before I'm back to normal. Looking for some recommendations for a comfortable seat or portable back rest.

Thanks

Helinox swivel chair. It's awesome. I use it for ground level whitetail mostly. It gets you up enough for a better shooting angle but not so high as to be overly obvious.

Very comfortable, swivels in total silence, quick/easy setup, compact.

I own this chair and absolutely love it

Would a simple crazy creek chair address your back issues? Could be a good option, I think they could be lighter but they’re about 1lb, folds in half to fit in a small pack, etc. and works on more uneven ground where some other chairs struggle.

You made no mention of compact or portability. So, if you're on private ground a Zero gravity chair placed at some of your favorite spots for the season could be a game changer for you. Super comfortable giving you the ability to stay in your spot longer.
The zero-gravity position is very therapeutic. You will feel better getting out of that chair than any bed you have slept in. Used zero gravity chair as my sleep system for truck camp hunts for ten years, get my 5-6 hours of exceptional sleep and ready to go.

I use the $10 Ozark camp chair from walmart...I recommend reinforcing the bottom of the bag with duck tape, gets thin after 2 seasons...going on 4th season with current one...I can even get a couple legs my outdoorsmen tripod in the bag so I can carry both at same time.

It's hard to beat Millenium, either the tree seat or their ground blind chair. The comfort to weight ratio is probably the best, but they aren't cheap. They make a turkey seat too, but I haven't tried it, I use some other brand with real short legs for turkey.

We use the g100 chairs the most for hunting whitetail on the ground, either in blinds or just on the ground with some camo mesh around.

I wish millenium would make either the tree seat or g100 also work as a turkey seat. I thought about doing some type of mod myself.

Ozark Trail knock off of the Helinox Chair Zero is what I’ve been taking out the past few sits. About 1/2 the price and only 2.5 ish lbs. sets up quick and is really quiet once sitting. Minimal squeaking/creaking.

The millennium is nice but find the 4 legged version instead of the 3, bought one this year for blind hunting with my kid and it’s super comfortable, quiet, and reasonably light for what it is. I also have a low rider generic turkey chair that is pretty comfy but the ability to swivel would be nice sometimes.
