Looking at the Lowa Hunter or the Schnee Beartooth in the insulated versions. Both appear to be similar in design and contain 200 grams of insulation.

I wear the Tibet 11 wide and looking for a boot for late hunts in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.

I also see Lowa has the Super warm Tibet which cost service said is 200 primaloft and 200 Grams of GORE Durathem insulation.

Any experience with any of these and expecially in winter snow and cold conditions.

I have the Lowa's and have had good luck with them now for one season. they seem like they will hold up well so far. They are great for rifle season but can get cold if you are not moving for long periods in cold weather. I also get cold feet easy but they have been the best I have found so far. I used these boots with the first lite cold weather socks. No experience with the Beartooth.

Just ordered the Lowa Hunter and will see how they fit, next will be the Schnees Beartooth insulated. I like my Tibet, but the new superwarm might be too hot.

I have the Lowa GTX Extreme Hunters and love them for winter use or really cold late fall trips. I too have a wide fore foot and the boot fits like it was molded to my foot! I have never had the chance to try on the Schnees but have heard good things.

Got the Lowa GTX EVO Extremes, wearing around the house they are a little bulky as it is a higher boot than the Tibet. But it is warm (inside the house). I have just wore them with the regular insole which appears to be different than the Tibet, more like a Thinsulate insole but it's not labeled as such.

I did insert a Thinsulate insole and it is a nice fit. I have wearing the Darn Tough wool sock.
