Howa Mini 6 Dasher

6mm (or .22) GT in a Superlite could be fun...

I have the same convenience factors to do dasher (brass, dies, access to a reamer) for the superlite.

Have mag follower cut and just need to stick a spacer in there to get it to feed right. Already ran it with some cardboard back there works great. And the super lite mags are really simple shapes. Single stack helps.

Given the weight of the rifle, the dashers and GT’s and maybe a 22 creed are a good fit.

I’ll probably go with an 18” dasher barrel on this build.

@Williammcinall

I spoke with Paul at PR.

He made a slight modification to the mag box to get the dasher to feed.

Thanks for linking me up with him. I'll try to get mine modified and rolling.
Hopefully it works out for you! he did all the magic on mine and it's my favorite rifle by far! i've got more builds on the way with him since he did such good work on this project and figuring out those small details to make it work

I have just found this thread and read the whole thing. . .you guys have done a fantastic job with your rifles and keeping this thread updated!!! Thank you.

What led me to this thread is I have a Howa Mini in 22 ARC and the last year and a half piled up a bunch of deer and hogs in three states with it and 80gr. ELD-M's. . .but like you all - I WANT MORE. This is now going to be fed by a 6 Dasher. I'm wanting to stick with the tipped bullets from Hornady and Sierra in the 105 to 109 grain range, could you tell me about your reamer freebore or reamer print and from whom - PLEASE? I'll be using Lapua 6BR brass hydro-formed for this too. I have been on the hunt for the 450 Bushmaster Mags and looking into the same bolt purchase (help with this too, please) for my build. I'm going a slightly different route then you all barrel wise, I like them a little longer . . .going with a Brux #4 1/7.5 tw at 24". Thank you in advance for any info you can send my way, and keep up the good work with your finds for this thread.
