Howa 1500 la magazines?

Is there any options like a Wyatt box for a howa 1500 long action I’m trying to load some 180 elites for it and they are sunk so far trying to fit them in I’m worried it’s gonna get past the 30 cal portion of the bullet

I see howa has a detachable magazine kit but I can’t find anywhere that mentions how big the magazine actually is hoping to get it out to somewhere around 3.75”

Howa is now chambering the 300 PRC so I wonder what the internal length of the magazines are on those? For some reason I thought the Howa LA was comparable to the Remington 700 in magazine length.

Yeah, Altas makes a bottom metal that accepts acis mags.

Weatherby uses Howa long actions for their Vanguard series which come chambered in 300 Weatherby and 375 H&H so there is a mag box longer than 30/06 and 300 WM. Where to get one I dunno.

There is a little milling that can be done in front of the trigger that will allow you to gain an extra .25". I believe this metal was removed to allow for the PRC action length in the Howa rifles.

I have a 300 Wby in a Vanguard and can only get 3.55" of COAL and have them fit in the magazine.

My mag is right at 3.5” hoping my gun smith has a trick to do something with it if I can get it to 3.75 I can shoot the 180 on the lans which would be ideal
