Have any of you used one of these from Brownells?
Been looking at picking one of these up in 6.5 PRC and put it in a KRG Bravo stock.
The thing that threw me a bit was in the specs for the 6.5PRC it shows the action as a Long Action not a Short action.

I chatted with Brownells today and here was what they said.
These are long action, 6.5 PRC can be in short action. I'm not sure why they sell it this way. Maybe because it allows more room for picatinny rail or the 6.5 PRC shares a bolt face with other magnum cartridges that are long action. So if you wanted to in the future do a barrel swap you have a long action

Kind of threw me off a bit as I was wanting a Short Action.
Not sure if its a deal breaker for me but disappointing somewhat.
What are some of your all's opinions

Shooting factory or rolling your own? If the latter, you'll appreciate the extra room. The short magnums tend to like more "medium" lengths like the t3x.

Agreed. There is no downside to having a 6.5 PRC in a long action.
