How to silence limb clicker

Just got a clicker. It’s pretty loud. I saw Aron Snyder use one and his was really quite. Mine is really loud I put some tape over it but it didn’t help what do you guys use?

Remove the string from the clicker.

try working it a bit and getting it broke in. That stuff is always loudest new. Then maybe add a bit of mole skin over top of it and under the tape?

I just wrapped mine in electrical tape. The more tape you add the quieter it gets

I'm just here to say I had to read the title twice. Silence of the lamb clicker????

I muted mine with some mole skin tape around the clicker. I also got rid of the bead chain and replaced it with all cordage instead. With the bead chain on it rattled really bad when I shot and the bead chain made a few nicks in my top limb.
