So with my health issues last Sept I didn't make it moose hunting and we're out of moose meat! This year I decided on a rifle hunt to my spot I've killed several moose over the years including a spot and stalk to 45ish yds with the 500L which was a solo hunt. I've taken 4 solo out of there plus others. This year I had a visitor that came too close for comfort. He died to the 325wsm 200gr Accubond. Spotted him at 788yds, fog came in, 5 mins later fog lifted and he was 400yds out in the open walking down my atv trail head to my knoll/camp. I beat feet down to a clearing before the trail went into the 10ft tall brush and waited. He walked out at 35 yds. Couldn't get any selfie picks but here he is skinned. 7ft, 22 14/16 Skull. Just shy of 23" for Boone and Crockette, not that I care. Beautiful hide. Here's Ol' Scarface that ruined my moose hunt! He was dead 150yds from my camp on the sided of the trail in the brush. I drug the carcass out of there across where I could see it about 500yd from camp. Next day it had been moved, drug off a ways. Another bear had already found it. I pulled the plug and went home. No moose this year.

That's awesome! Grizz skull on the Grizz wheeler is pretty cool
In this spot I've moose hunted for 20 years if I'm seeing griz I'm not seeing moose. If I'm not seeing moose I end up seeing griz. The day adfter killing this one another one drug off the carcass. All in the "path" moose in this area take going from valley to valley.
