How to never loose your thumb release!

Thought of this while turkey hunting then later saw a guy do it on archery talk. Never done anything with kydex before took less than an hour and about $30, no problem. No more wondering where my release is!

If you pull it out real fast it makes noticeable noise, normally it'd be out before it matters I would think. I usually have my release wrapped with hockey tape, after I put it back on it came out much quieter. It also makes some noise if you shake the bow where the kydex touches the riser but a bit of mole skin would solve that, or I could just attach it differently through the eye holes. It's only my first try so I am sure there are many things to improve on.

Ok now that's cool! I've made dozens of kydex holsters and may have to give this a go.

Currently I just use a piece of para cord that I made an adjustable loop with and I just tuck it in my sleeve. Challenge is that once is connect to the d loop, I'm tethered.

pretty much the same thing as a handgun holster, wouldn't worry about that falling out.

It only lasted me 3 or 4 months, went back to a wrist release... cool idea though!

Dudley sells them on his website for his releases. I bought one for my nock 2 it. I like it on my hip quiver but am too scared to use it hunting. Not bc of noise but bc I’m scared to lose it. I’ve lost a release and it cost me the biggest buck of my life so I’m super paranoid haha
