What is the off the shelf product that can be applied to the sides of a Limbsaver butt pad to make it less tacky?

I imagine some type of silicone (what else) that dries and adheres to rubber and is durable to the elements and friction from constant contact with nylon. I remember brown nosing CO (command officer) driver’s using armor all on the sidewalls of tires, but I have no idea how durable this was and I heard it degraded the tires.

I still have some 303 from my kayaking days, so I’ll test that

We used it just to protect dry top gaskets but I don’t remember caring if the gasket was slippery

I also noticed that on an older one on 1 of my rifles.I just got a new one for another rifle so may have to replace every 10 years

Yea read something similar about shotgunners having issues and using electrical tape and a bunch of other stuff

I really had no idea it was a shotgun issue,
I’m just sick of having to do a half twist upside down draw to get my rifle out of the gun bearer cradle
