How to: Darken a cut rail

Hey All,
I've recently cut my pic rail (see images) and wanted to see what you all would recommend for darkening the shaved metal? The rail is an EGW aluminum.

I probably wouldn’t worry about it but if it really bothered me I suppose I’d use a black sharpie.

Man, I tried that and it only touched up the little scuffs. Didn’t change the larger shaved area at all

Mine still looks like yours. Never really cared about it.
