I'm sitting here seriously jealous of some of you guys. Currently I have 2 weeks of paid time off and 3 "flex" days for use while sick or personal.

Company I was at prior to coming here I had almost 4 weeks of combined PTO time. I had to negotiate for getting 2 weeks off the bat and took a lower rate as a result. I believe we max out at 4 weeks per year, however that's at 15 years of service. I won't earn a 3rd week for another 3 years.

0 days, 0 hours! I just got paid out for my 310 hours I had banked. My new position doesn't have PTO- I just take off what I need and work otherwise.

Salary, I work 4-10's and I alternate weekends so the first week I work Monday-Thursday and take 4 days off then work Tuesday-Friday and take 2 days off. I get 200 hours PTO a year (5 weeks) and I have 300 hours accrued. we also get 10 paid holidays and one floating holiday.

None, but I can take as many unpaid days off as I want. My company is pretty flexible and there are other perks that make up for not having PTO.

I get 2 weeks vacation and a week of sick. Sick days can be carried over or used as personal days 2 sick days = 1 personal day. I also get an additional vacation day for every 5 days of travel so I add about another week each year. It isn't great but the owners of the company are very flexible with my hours and schedule.

I started a new job a month ago. We have unlimited PTO/Sick days so pretty much take when it fits. So far I've only taken one day this month, but have plans on using it to my advantage.

We did just merge with a larger corp. so we'll see what changes are coming...

Currently capped at 246 hours and accrue 8.6 every paycheck. I take every other Friday off to keep accruing vacation and do a few week trips a year.

I also have 2 weeks of sick time, 3 months of paternity that I was able to use with my son and unlimited bereavement if it's someone in my family.

We have come a long way since I had 5 total paid days off a year as we were building our company.

I currently get 240 hours per year of PTO. Accrued hours max out at 320. We can cash in up to 80 hours per year which I'm assuming is for people who don't have a hunting obsession.

Get about 23 days a year PTO and that will go up in July by a few days.
Work a 9/80 schedule so have every other Friday off (26 days/year).
So a total of 49 days off per year plus holidays and weekends.

I've never had more than a few weeks in the bank at one time; there is way too much stuff to be doing! Hopefully in the next couple of years it will be my own schedule and them numbers 4x.

Unlimited FTO/PTO 100% paid. Nothing carries over because, well, I get unlimited days off each year. Its an unspoken rule (well, in my division) that after you take off the first 27 days that you should probably touch base with your boss. However, HR had to remind me a few months ago that it is truly unlimited and take what you please. Had a baby in January so had to figure out parental leave. As a dude I get 6 weeks 100% paid of that.

Edit: Plus about 150hrs paid sick and 80hrs of emergency leave? No clue what I accrue either of those at. Only been with this company a few years. 9 or 11 holidays. The BIG downer is the work load is heavy every quarter end. I want to start rifle hunting deer every few years now that Oregon has changed up the draw, but the first 3 weeks of October is slammed. I did Wyoming last year and by the time I got there in mid October most critters were staying 100% on private...

Edit Edit: 16hrs of diversity leave and 8hrs volunteer. Thanks to this thread I now know more about my benefits than ever! ha

Not near enough yet!
Left last job with over 500 hours of combined leave balance. Paid out about half.
Can carry a couple hundred at new job and plan to get it built up quickly as possible. So more weekend warrior stuff for a couple years.

4.5 weeks of vacation per year
2.5 weeks sick per year
7 holidays

I currently have around 680 sick hours. 240 vacation hours as well.

It's actually harder for me to ever use my time off and I almost always roll over a couple of weeks to the following year because of short staffing in the hospital.

Man I'm turning green reading this thread, lol... I have 39 hours, almost 1 full week! I'll halve almost 3 weeks come hunting season though. Every year in the fall I burn everything I've got and sometimes go negative.

I get 30 days a year. I let it accrue all year long, then burn almost all of it between August and September. So typically about 25-30 days of chasing sheep, caribou, moose and bears which is great. I also work a rotating shift with my longest work week being 3 days on and 3 days off are the norm making it pretty easy to squeeze in shorter hunts and fishing trips throughout the rest of the year without using any PTO. I'm certainly not complaining except my taxidermy bill gets a bit unreasonable at times. First world problems.

PTO- Currently accrue 216 hours per year. (This includes holidays. No "sick pay") Can have no more than 240 hours banked on Dec 31.

Reserve Bank-(Think long term disability) Accrues @ 48 hours per year. Bank capped @ 240 hours. (Semi narrow guidelines on how this can be used) On Dec 31, any hours above 240 hours are cut as a check at 85% of value.

I am salary (exempt), so I have additional latitude on time off. If I come in late, work late, doc appt, etc, I don't need to log as PTO.

I'm currently at 165 hours. I just burned 40 in March and typically burn 80 for hunting. I'd like to have more banked but it's hard with a little one. The only random days off anymore are due to someone being sick.
