How much do new Tikka barrels speed up?

With Tikka barrels being notoriously slow, how much should a guy expect a new one to speed up? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Same question...I am looking at getting a Tikka 6.5 PRC, but don't want to end up with Creedmoor velocities.

I have shot 1 box of factory 143 ELDx. I don't have my notes in front of me but it was around 2635. I can verify this evening at home.

The rest has been handloads. 143 ELDx over H4350. That load has stayed pretty consistent around 2650.

My 6.5 creedmoor tikka never sped up. 40 rounds of factory 147 eldm and 500 handloads in about 6 months and the speed stayed consistent. Right at 2500 all the way through.

My 127 LRX with H4350 is running at 2625, which I think is pretty slow. I have some ELDM coming.

I have right at 100 rounds through a 6.5cm that is cut to 20”. 130 tmk with H4350 is seeing 2730

Same with my 6.5 creed.. consistent with factory 147 Eld M 2480fps cut to 18” with 4 port um break

Have a 7-08 about 95fps below book, still working on a load. I'll take the slow velocity as long as it shoots well.

My 20" 308 CTR shoots 155 scenars 2882 very consistently. It's at the hotter edge but very consistent. My T3 lite 308 with stock barrel is about the same speed but with a slightly longer barrel. Go figure. Could possibly be rifle to rifle.
