Obviously the sooner the better on drying it out. But as a rule of thumb, what do y'all feel comfortable with?

ASAP: I never feel comfortable leaving a wet tent packed up, especially living in the PNW where spores are everywhere. Even short durations can lead to mold and mildew. That said, 1–2 days is usually survivable.

Depends on your climate- if you live in a Desert you got some more leeway.

If you are in the deep coastal south will it ever really dry out 🤣

Mildew/mold can grow in as quickly as 24-48 hrs depending on conditions so yes you are right in getting to it as soon as you can

However long it takes you to get back from hunt camp back to your house??? (As long as it’s not a 5 day drive back from AK to FL or something 😂).
First thing I always do is unload my wet camp gear. Putting away damp tents is the number one cause for issues with them

I had black spots develop in 48 hours. 1 day drive back from after taking it down. Left in vehicle for roughly 12-24 hours. Was shocked when I unpacked it. I think I had it in a plastic bin which may have facilitated it.
