the only reason i ask is i usually use my spotting scope at or near my ride,, when i go hiking, i will only bring my swaro 15x56's lot's of time as. is it a waste of time to try to digiscope with bino's? don't want to spend the money on an adaptor if it's not worth it. thanks.

i actually just got an iphone 15 pro, so still trying to figure out which system to use now,, probably either use magview or Ollin.

NOTE: If you're thinking about using the MagView system, know that when you put their plate thing on the back of your phone.. you WON'T be able to then make use of a fast-charge Qi (pronounced "Chee") charger anymore.

I use a Scope Cam Adapter on my Leica 15x56s. I specifically bought the little bit heavier/bigger Score Cam for the versatility and not needing different adapters. Either my oldest son, or I, can use it on 10s, 15s or a Swarovski spotter.

I bought a $5 hard plastic case and added the magnet to it. Just switch it out before I got hunting.

I have the ScopeCam adapter with the mag plate and really like it. Adjustable to just about any eyepiece.
That is the one that I use also and it works good. Some have trouble using with the magnetic charging station, but mine will charge no problem.

I bought a cheap silicone phone case on Amazon for $11 and stuck the Magview metal plate to the back of the case. When I want use the phone on my spotter I put my phone in the case w the plate. Works great. If I'm not hunting I take the phone out of that case and put it into one without the metal plate.

Thanks for the pictures? About how far was the furthest picture taken at?

I’m considering picking up 15’s and wondering how they look at 1-2 miles out with zoom from the phone
I have a set of 15s and a cheap handy little adapter. From my experience (cheap phone) the zoom on the camera kinda just makes the picture a bit closer than what my eyes see thru binos and leaves me wanting more. 15x is a weird size, i like my 8x binos and little razor spotter, have a set of 12x binos trying a do all, but still leaning twoards my 8x and spotter combo

1-2 miles would be a stretch I can get some pics of moo cows later if someone else doesn’t have anything. I do have a pic of a truck in a shed at 485 yards across heavy mirage bright afternoon sun. iPhone 16 pro max at 2x and 5x maven B5 15x56

I guessed this was 2 miles, google earth measured at 6 miles. Sorry, dont have my 15x with me but the 12x really isnt that big of a difference. Viper 12x50, razor 11x33 spotter and cheap phone

Here is 825 yards. Pics taken mostly when sun blocked by clouds. What i dont like about the 15x and maybe its just mine (steiner 15x56 that will be for sale when i can post) is that i have to adjust constantly to scan and keep clear image. I think thats depth of field? Its less noticable on the 12x and with my 8x diamondbacks that i prefer i initially focus and then pretty much set. I seem to be pickier than most so that may not bug you. My 8x on tripod for long scans and spotter to zoom in is the ticket for me. Unfortunately didnt have my 8x today for comparison. The 15x just leave me wanting more which the spotter provides, 12x50 kinda a do all. Hand holdable for close scans, great on tripod, weigh consoderablly less than 15x
