It's just like everything else......it seems that EVERYONE except me is in super slow mode all the time........when the traffic lights turn green it could be 15 seconds before I can move because the front two people are slow as molasses. The grocery store.......walking across the street.......the ATM.......at the teller in the bank........in the drive-thru.......everyone is slow as mud. And my personal favorite........the bathroom. My room mate in college could spend 1/2 hour in there taking a dump. The bathroom is the last place I want to spend time in. In.......dump......wipe......flush....and go. 1 minute tops. Move it along folks..........."TODAY......WHILE WE'RE YOUNG"........some of us are actually trying to get somewhere, and get something accomplished. Sheesh. So at the ATM.......yes, I'm not slow. If I was, I'd beat myself up. But I always get a receipt.

I felt like an asshole at stupid Wells Fargo depositing cash at the atm. Here in California only certain branches are open and there are lines out the door, so I’ll just deposit this cash in the ATM real quick...

My wife gave me $7,000 out of the safe to deposit... Well, the ATM can only take 30 bills at a time and then it makes me take the card out after the 30 bills get counted. So out the card back in, count out the 30 bills, and repeat again.

All that for a stupid bill pay account for my wife’s business. Guess who’s opening a new account for her business at our credit union this week haha.

I felt like a total douche bag with all those people mumbling under their breath at me in line for the atm.

If I sense an impatient person behind me at the ATM, I take longer.

If there is impatient person in back of me at the gas pump, I will pump gas, then clean my windshield, then check fluids.

I go the speed limit or a few miles under too while driving. Pisses people off, but I get a kick out of it.

Now at the grocery store, it's full on bumper carts. Spend the least amount of time in grocery and department stores. Costco runs are an average 15 minutes for me.

Man, it never fails for me at the grocery store. I’ll be ready to check out and see an open register! I quickly head that way when out of no where, some lady with a entire cart full cuts me off and gets in first! Every. time.

It's like at home sitting in front of the TV with the remote in my hand. My wife is like "My goodness......slow down, I can't even tell what's on and you've already gone through 45 channels in under a minute". Then me "Just try to keep up......." That's just who I am........always on the move.....physically or mentally.......or both at the same time. That's why I cover so much ground elk hunting........gotta keep moving until I find the right bull.

I generally don't do lines. Went to the on base clinic lab for some blood work this morning and immediately walked out when I saw 10+ people sitting there. The lab request has been in the system since early December now, so this is a frequent problem. Same for the pharmacy......when I saw more than a few people there as well. I certainly don't need anything that badly. Life's too short to wait in lines.

ATM? Who uses an atm? I think the average age of an atm patron is about 92.5 years old, so yeah, I guess it would make sense that it took a while.
