How do you guys carry your rangefinder on spot and stalk hunts?

Great idea Slim!!! I need to make sure I do this with my AGC bino pack and rangefinder. Be a shame to lose it in the heat of a stalk.....again :) (Luckily Becca's dad found it by some sort of miracle last time)

Yea I've been cinching mine too. But kinda want to make a little pouch to keep it in. Just to protect it from the elements better than it just being uncovered.

Yeah I like mine being covered up in the front pouch of my bino pouch for sure. I know they are supposed to be pretty tough and what not, but I like to keep it out of the elements as much as possible as well. In fact I like to keep my optics covered up as much as possible as my spotter/binos/rangefinder cost more than the rest of my backpacking hunting kit counting the rifle!!! Might as well atleast try to keep them covered up somewhat ;)

Yep exactly!

I just carry mine in my shirt pocket with a lanyard to my bino harness. It pulls out easy and never falls out. Once I get my range I can let it drop out of the way and it won't fall to the ground.

The Range Snap is awesome if you're using a standard crooked horn harness. I've used it for years, and it's very effective - there's minimal movement needed to range and no fumbling around with pockets, pouches, etc. I'm going to try the FHF, since I just got that bino harness. Haven't ordered the range finder pouch yet.
