There is already one on Rokslide 300Bee. http://www.rokslide.com/forums/showthread.php?694-Good-guy-list Guess maybe some of you guys havent found it? Hope that helps. I have many honorable mentions =)

I've done several transactions on here too with no issues. I have done some on other hunting forums where the merchandise wasn't exactly in the condition as advertised. Whats in "great" condition no one might not be the same to another I guess.

The "good guy" list on here I find pretty worthless... I'm supposed to dig through 70+ pages of posts to see if someone is a "good guy" or not? It would be much better if there was just a list of good guys. Archery Talk has an awesome way to rate buyers and sellers with comments kind of like ebay. It doesn't have to be that elaborate but the current method kinda stinks. So much that I never even bother looking at it.

I have bought and sold a lot of stuff on this site with PayPal gift, and felt very comfortable doing it, one thing I like about this site is there's only a limited amount of assholes on it compared to thousands of them on some other forums.
Out of all the transactions I've done I only had one D bag try to burn me but we got it lined out.

Yeah I agree its not the best. Its hard to sift through that many posts. But its there. The existence of Rokslide is for information and to learn. I think many of the site admins look at a trading forum as more of a courtesy to the user community more then a main feature. Unfortunately human nature dictates that we are going to buy, sell, trade so it becomes a bit more then just informational website/message board. =-) I dont believe that is always the intended use for a website such as Rokslide.

I will add that through all of my buying/selling/trading I really learn alot about the people and the community and have made some fantastic friends here. You really get a true sense of ones character on how they handle themselves when it comes to this.

Thanks for the heads up on The Goodguy Forum
It is actually real easy to use I just typed in the user name and bingo my guy showed right up.
In my opinion it's a very good tool for someone like me that's new and doesn't know the history.
Thanks again SHTF

It's pretty easy CoHiCntry just go to the forum and in the search this thread box type in the user name and search it will give you the posts that have been made
Give it a test spin and see what comes up.
Hope this helps.

I've purchased a good amount of hunting gear from forum classifieds and I must say rokslide has the best members... I use only PayPal and use my gut feeling whether or not to use gift option.. I've actually only kinda been scammed once on A/T .. It was not as described in condition and not same size stab.. They even threw in some random plastic toy peice , a charging cord and a random early 90's cell battery... It was slightly amusing so I didn't even bother with contacting the guy.

I do some research if it's a larger value purchase. Also Google the Screen Name, people often use the same screen name elsewhere, look at their post numbers and join date etc.

I mostly always do trades more than buying/selling. If I'm the one with an ad up with items to trade, the other party (buyer) will send the his items to me first. As soon as I receive the tracking info for the package, I will then send mine out.

When I do happen to be buying I have used Paypal and occasional Money orders without any problems. I like to keep good communication between me and the other person. Usually both through messaging on the forum and texting/calling.
