How do you celebrate the 4th of July?

My brother and I met a good buddy of ours and his wife and 3 month old baby and floated and smashed trout on some big dry flies. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Cooked 18 racks of ribs for our ranch family and lit off some huge fireworks. Was a blast!

I was up at my Wyoming cabin.
Minimal people and minimal cell reception

Wife and I went up to the farm and worked on projects that needed to be done, just us no people or phones.

Spent the 4th-6th scouting with the family and a couple friends. Today was fishing and putting a new bumper on a pickup with my Father in law. Damn good weekend.

Yes, normally you grill and watch the fireworks. I celebrate it because I love my country.

Had to work this year so nothing big. When I don't work I spend time with family have a grill out and playing yard games. Don't shoot off much for fireworks as my dog doesn't like them

Celebrating with newborn. No sleep. But smoking pulled pork on Traeger and last bits of tag soup for dessert.

The 4th is my wife's birthday. Every year we try to go back to CO and do some hiking. This year we stayed at the hot springs in Buena Vista and climbed Mt. Columbia (14,100)
