How Do I Remove Pine Sap?

Just back from a Manitoba bear hunt. As would be expected, some of my merino and soft-shell stuff picked up some pine (spruce actually) sap. I'm hoping someone has concrete advice on particular method or solvent to use. I obviously don't want to dissolve my soft-shell jacket along with the sap. Advice?

Ah. Well, from what I understand about silnylon, if it is truly a silicone coating and not PU or something else, then nothing should stick to it other than silicone. Hence the reason you have to seam seal it with silicone and you can't seam tape silnylon. However, as sticky as that crap is, I could see it possibly sticking enough to make a mess.
