I was looking at getting a pair of Solomon Cosmic GTX 4D2. I was told they run a 1/2 size too big? Then online they say you need to order a 1/2 size larger than normal! Can anyone shed some light on these or just the Solomon Boots in general? Thanks!

I have the quest 4D 2 GTX and they are true to size for me in a 10. They are also roomy in the toes compared to every other hiker I have owned.

They are true to size for me at 9.5 They have a tennis shoe type fit.

They run true to size. I would recommend using their foot measurement guide on the web site. It tells you how to measure your foot and what the size is for the measurement.

Hey guys, thank you! It can be pretty confusing because when I went to order they say to add 1/2 size, it sorta concerned me? Guess I won't worry about it, thanks again!

I have Salomon Comet boots and a couple other Salomon shoes and I would say they run on the smaller side, meaning you may need to go up a half size. I wear size 11 or 11.5 depending on brand and Salomons I always get 11.5. I also have 11.5 in Lowa Tibets if that helps.

Thanks, for now I believe I'll go with standard sizing as I have a narrow foot, hopefully it will work, thanks!
