Houston, TX - Western Hunters??

I am looking to talk/meet up with anyone else from the area who hunts or wants to hunt western big game. I have always been a waterfowl hunter, but something is calling me west. I am starting to make a short term and long term hunting plan for myself, but looking for others who share common goals. I have minimal big game experience outside of whitetails here in TX, but it wont stop me. Feel free to reach out.

I'm from Houston. I'm actually looking for a partner that wants to do 2016 OTC Archery in CO. I've never been before, but as you mentioned something is calling. I'm just not a big fan of camping alone. I'm in Sugar Land, if you're serious let me know and we can meet up for a beer.
