Looking for recommendations on a sock for covering miles in hot weather wearing 8" boots. I purchased a pair of Kenetrek Yellowstone, Darn Tough Coolmax and Drake Ultra dry socks to try. The darn tough are very warm, the Kenetrek and Drake socks seem to be fine but im still craving something cooler. Suggestions?

I use the Darn Toughs all year for quail and Chukar hunting down here, but they were also too hot for my wife so she picked up a pair of Smartwool light weights from REI and likes them much better and they are thinner than my DTs. Unfortunately I don’t have the weight/model handy.

Sierra has the Smartwool Phd socks on clearance. Grabbed some to try and like them so far. Almost liner thin and breathable.

I'm still searching for the perfect warm weather sock (I got hot feet), but wool blend liner socks have been the best I've found so far.
